As President of the San Juan Shrine Club for 2011.
I would like to thank everyone for their support all year. The time went by so fast.
It began in early spring, at the San Juan Shrine Club RV Park, where a lot of time was spent cleaning and doing road and ditch repairs. We knew by the end of Summer that the work had been well worth the effort, since we got tons of positive feedback from everyone who was able to use the park.
Bill Goforth and Neil Sherman helped the club out by showing up to gun shows and Sam's Club to sell lots of tickets for the gun raffle.
Jimmy and Clare got the 4wheelers and little car cleand up for the Parades. We attended 4 parades in Farmington and Aztec. And, it was nice to see some new faces ride the 4 wheelers this year.
The Potentate's vist was a great! Lots of good food, Nobles and Ladies. Brady and Krista's hard work, made the Golf tournament a successful fund raiser for the club.
The annual breakfast at Ann's restraunt brought in some money for the club, and was a fun event for the members who served as cooks, waiters and waitresses. Thank you, Mark and George Ann!
Clare went running aroud taking photos at all the events for me to post on the website. We thank everyone who sent photos for us to use also.
Yes, this year was a great deal of work but, the reward was seeing a smile on Callie and Amy's faces and knowing other childrens lives may have been made just a little easier through the Shriners medical resources.
